Deaths After NATO Convoy Bomb Attack

At least eight people have been killed in Kabul by an improvided explosive device, that targeted a convoy belonging to the NATO-led mission in Afghanistan.
All victims were civilian, an Afghan offical said, with around 25 others being injured - including three US service members working for the coalition.
The attack took place on a group of armoured personnel carriers in the centre of the capital, near the US embassy.
Two of the vehicles were damaged in the explosion, along with several passing cars belonging to the public.
The convoy was, however, able to return to a coalition base.
The so-called Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
